The Offense of Jesus

The gospel of Mark is an unveiling of Jesus. But what we will find this week is that for some, no amount of unveiling will do. Jesus will always be an offense to some people. It is important to unpack this idea for a few reasons. First, to learn more about Jesus and the offense of the gospel. Second, to learn about the ways that we, as Christ followers, can be found offensive, too. Third, in light of these offenses, we learn to take up a very specific strategy to share and minister with our faith. Let’s pray for open and humble hearts this Sunday.

Baptisms on April 7th

Baptism is the outward expression of an inward reality. And that reality is our faith in Jesus. Are you ready to take this important step to publicly proclaim your love of Christ? We are doing baptisms on April 7th, so let me know if you’re interested.
