He is Risen! The resurrection is the central event and truth of the Christian faith. It is proof that Jesus’ payment for our sins was enough. It is proof that we have been raised with him and are no longer under the constant tyranny of sin. It is proof that we are now adopted children of God. And it is proof that our lives are now wholly his and we must now live in light for him.
In light of this, this week I want to hone in on one thing we must all be committed to: evangelism. Whether this excites you or puts you into a cold sweat, we must talk about this and learn how to make it a centerpiece of our faith. So my aim this week will be to challenge, encourage and equip. Let’s pray for open hearts this week.
Spring on the Hill Fest and Open House
We are really excited to finally put on a festival and open house to show off our building and, especially, connect the community to our church. So please start inviting. Grab an invite card–or ten–and invite as many friends, family member and neighbors as you can. And please sign up to help! The more people we have volunteer, the better the event will go. We’ll have a lot more info this Sunday, so don’t miss out!
