We’re excited to have back with us Oleg Reutki, of New Hope Eurasia, a church-planting missionary in Moldova, the Ukraine and Turkey. Come with listening ears and open hearts. And if you have any questions, he’ll be available to chat after the service!
July and August Service Time Change: 9:00AM
As you may have heard, the Elders and Deacons have decided to change the Sunday service time to 9am for July and August. There are two reasons for this. The first is to beat the heat (our worship space does not have air conditioning). And the second reason is to bolster our Summer attendance! We hope you will make it a priority to attend services when you are in town. If you have questions about this, reach out to any of our leaders.
Welcome Chris Cummings and the 2019-20 Nominating Committee
We’re happy to announce that Chris Cummings was voted in as elder this past Sunday. We also voted for Jamie Cummings, Rachel Adler, and Romie Mundy to serve on our nominating committee. Please pray for them all as they seek to do the Lord’s work.
Thank You, Ketron
As we welcome Chris on, we also say goodbye to Ketron Ellison. He’s not leaving the church, but his time as an elder has come to an end. Ketron has been a faithful, gracious, humble and fierce minister for us and the gospel, and we thank God for his time as one of the church’s shepherds. Pray for him as he transitions to new ministry opportunities inside our church.

PRAYING FOR GRACEPOINT
God has called each one of us as a solemn duty and as a high privilege, for the wonderful power of intercession for our church and for one another. Let us pray for:
Outreach & Missions
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
Lord, I lift up GracePoint’s outreach programs to you. Remind us to do good and share with others as a pleasing sacrifice to You. Keep us outwardly focused so we don’t become self-absorbed. Help us teach one another to be faithful ministers of Your Son. Enable us to meet people wherever they have a need. Help us minister faithfully as we proclaim the gospel so that the ones we reach might become an acceptable offering to You.
Help us to understand that time is short and put on our hearts the urgency to share the gospel with others.
Lord, we lift up the missions that we support and pray for their needs:
- New Hope Eurasia (Moldova) – We pray for Oleg & Marina Reutika. We ask for financial support, creativity and wisdom for them on how to reach more people for Jesus
- Frank & Silvia Saavedras (Panama). We pray for their son Danny who has lyme disease and for their daughter Deby who witnessed the shootings in Charlotte. We ask for healing for both of them.
- Development Associates International- Paul Borthwick. We pray for rest for Paul this summer and the ability to complete his book on John 3:16.
- Aliza Curtis (Northwestern Mexico). We ask for wisdom for Aliza to move forward with ABWE and the couple she is working with.
- Somebody Cares New England
- Place of Promise
- Department of Children and Families
Lord I pray that you would bless the finances of GracePoint so that we can increase our support to these important ministries and show us other ministries that you want us to support.
In the mighty name of Jesus we pray. Amen
