To be gospel fluent is to speak the truths of Christ in every aspect of our lives and the world. We need to learn how the gospel supplies, and applies, across the board. Platitudes are not enough. Practical wisdom is not enough. We need the power of the gospel, and so we need to learn to speak the truths of the gospel.
So we’ll get as practical as possible this week, explaining the nuts and bolts of speaking the gospel to own hearts, and to each other. As we learn to do this, and especially as we do it, we will be so much more inclined to speak these same truths to those who do not yet believe. Pray for open hearts as we explore Romans 12:2.
Gospel Fluency Homework
If you are doing GF with us, either in a group or on your own, we hope that you’re staying on top of the homework. You will get out what you put in! And that’s especially true this week (pages 110-137). Take your time. Listen to the Spirit. Speak the gospel to you heart. There is nothing more important right now.
