G.K. Chesterton said this about gratitude: “You say grace before meals. All right. But I say grace before the concert and the opera, and grace before the play and pantomime, and grace before I open a book, and grace before sketching, painting, swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing and grace before I dip the pen in the ink.”
In other words, all of life is gratitude. Gratitude for all the things God has done, is doing, and will do. And so in this newsletter, I give thanks for my Father, my wonderful wife and kids, and for you. I am indebted to you all for your kindness, support and love. Happy Thanksgiving.
This Week’s Sermon: “A Light Has Dawned,” Isaiah 9
We are beginning our advent series this week called Hidden Christmas, based on Tim Keller’s book. And this week we look to the light. What it is. Why we need it. And how we can get it. Come. Invite a friend. Pray for your growth. Pray for people to turn from darkness and to the Light.
