How Could a Loving God Allow So Much Suffering? (Job 1:6-12)

There are few questions that plague us like this one. Why do we suffer? All faiths–even those who do not presume God’s existence–must confront this. And answers abound. Suffering isn’t real. Suffering is simply a part of a godless, material universe. But how do we, as Christians, make sense of suffering?

If we believe God to be all-powerful and perfectly good, why is there such a thing as pain, fear, and death? And so, for our own sake, and for the sake of those we are witnessing to, we need good answers. Not pat answers, but intellectually and emotionally satisfying ones.

Unfortunately today we were not able to be in Church, but so grateful to be able to listen to such a great sermon. It ties into our family group Bible Study, hence we will listen to it to it as a group! Thank you Ryan for the great message! God bless you!
